The Recreation Committee is an all volunteer group that was created by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to help organize recreational activities for the City. The Easter Egg Hunt, the Haunted Halloween Trail and the annual Christmas Parade are a few of the activities that they run.
The committee is looking for new members and any interested citizens of Decherd are encouraged to join. Stop by City Hall and ask for the mayor or come to a committee meeting.
The public is always invited to attend committee meetings.
